Despite the fact it's not happening, it should for the sake of the integrity of the game. It could be done.

A football stadium isn’t a baseball stadium there are dimension advantages. A football stadium also isn’t like a basketball stadium where you might be more apt to the home rims your shoot on and practice on all season.

If weather is not a factor, and the fans are split, and the stadium aesthetics and AV are neutral what advantage is being had by Tampa hosting?

Then what's the point of moving the SB location about? Just put it in Honolulu, San Diego, London, and/or Orlando every year. No chance of the host team playing in it then as they have no home teams.
It should be in a neutral location.

Let's assume Rodgers loses this one. Does he get labeled as a choker, or does the one Super Bowl win forever absolve him of the label?

Weak excuses all. The SB should always be in a neutral location.

Wow, that was a DUCK by Brady! Come on Tampa!

It should be in a neutral location.

Okay, then rotate the SB with London, Honolulu, San Diego, and Orlando every year. No chance of the home team making it as nobody plays in those cities. Or, you can be like the WC and if the home team makes it, well done to them. The latter is what I'll choose.
