I don't know if anyone can control TO but I will say the way Parcells has handled TO has been very good. Bill is not going to get into debate over TO with the media like Reid did. Bill will not talk about TO to any length or respond back to something TO has said or done.

Agree ...but does Bill's job next year depend on any outcomes or any one thing in particular?

Maybe, but the Giants have been killed by injuries this
year. This is the same team, when they were riding high, that
came in and rolled over us.I think he might get another year,
but if they lose out, maybe.I'll say one thing,Ernie Acorsi is lucky
he's leaving.I can't imagine what Dallas and these boards would
be like if Jerry gave up Rivers,1st,3rd,5th,and 50 million for Eli.

Coughlin lost 2-3 games for the giants on his poor coaching alone... the Titans loss had nothing to do with injuries

Heck in 2nd game against us.... if he runs Jacobs in one or both of his drives inside the 10 yard line we prob lose that game... I am still thanking him

I hate the Eagle and wish they would let Reid go, he is one of the best in the league.

Are you saying you wouldn't mind having Reid as the HC for the Cowboys.I don't know about that, but I think some Cowboy fans would probably disagree with you on that call.

ANyway, what about Parcells ...is he or is he Not the HC of the Cowboys in 2007?

That all may be true but they've been hurt as much by being undisciplined. That's on the coach.
This team was undisciplined before Coughlin arrived. I don't think any coach will be able to make this a disciplined team without some serious player turnover.

side from that, haven't you heard anything about the out-of-control Giants and the HC's inability to handle his players?

Bill job depends on 2 things at least in my mind. 1. Health and 2 enjoyment of what he is doing. I don't think TO being here or not being here will effect BP decisions

The game plan was excellent against the Titans until the end of the game. The loss had more to do with players making critical mistakes than poor game day coaching.

Who stripped Reid of his play calling duties? Must have been someone with some big ones.
It does make sense, wasn't Marty the OC in SF when Garcia was playing good? He probably knows what plays suit Garcia the best.

Yeah ...that bit of information came out early this season. SDOme of that decision was based On the awful 2005 season. Eagles management made the call. Marty makes the majority of the decisions ...that's why the Eagles are now experiencing some success at running the ball.

Are NFC-East Coaches on the bubble?

I have no clue, but Andy Reid is surely the NFC coach who is shaped most like a bubble.

Can the guy get any rounder?

David.

If Coughlin misses the playoffs this year he will go bye bye. Gibbs should either take control of his team or he needs to go. Parcells seems to be rejuvenated with the play of Romo but I think Zimmer will be gone and that will make Bill stay a couple of years. Then he will have no excuses.

The game has passed Gibbs by. He's embarassing himself. But I'm not going to try to predict Snyder's decision making process.

As many have said, Couglin is likely to be the fall guy in New York. He is in a tough spot. Some of his most talented athletes pride themselves on being something other than team leaders and team players. And the Giants had a little extra bad luck with injuries this season.

I think Parcells calls his own shot as long as he's here. He will quit if his teams fall short of his own expectations which are consistent with Jones. I'm not sure about TO. Depends on whether Parcells is truly not bothered by all the media nonsense. I suspect TO annoys him but he'll put up with him as long as the locker room doesn't get bad or TO does something worse than he has. My guess is TO will come back.

I'm not gonna say what Synder will do. My thoughts are Gibbs will come back for another year. I think Gibbs will quit when he's ready. Maybe this year or next if they lose again.

Coughlin is on the hot seat. If they tank against NO which I think they will then he and Eli may get canned. Coughlin can't control himself or his team. That's his history. Eli is not a savior or a good QB at present IMO. I think he'll be fighting to be the starting QB next year. If he comes up big in the next two weeks and the Giants win a game or so in the playoffs then it could save both of them.

Reid is not going anywhere. He'd gone to the four st8 NFC championship games and now has the Eagles on the brink of winning the division with his second team QB. I'm thinking what a brilliant piece of coaching to lose your QB then win with the backup while changing the offense to play to Garcia's strengths. Why would you fire the guy? For what reason?

70% of adult Americans meet the criteria for obesity which are strict but still that's a glaring and damning figure. I don't know firm figures for children but what I've seen is truly alarming. I don't think Philly can fire Reid for obesity.

Man that guy is fat though.
