I’m as big a Cowboys fan as any of you will find. But, BIG but.... Am I wrong to want to NFC East to make a good showing once our boys are out? I’ve watched NFC East teams beat each other up for most of my 50 years and then beat teams with better records in the playoffs and I love it. And don’t come at me with a bunch of contradicting stats that’s not where I’m going with this

I agree but doesn’t it make us look better when they move on? Heck I’m just throwing this out there. I’m kinda on the fence too
I don't think so. This isn't college basketball where it might benefit us to have the other teams do well in the tournament. When the Giants won the SB in 2007 all I felt was anger. It didn't make the Cowboys look good IMO.

I remember Ware rooting for the Giants in that 2008 Super Bowl. Come to think of it so did I...
The East beat up on each other so much that they ha e bad records and get a bad rap IMO

To each his own, I guess.
I know I often do that for my college's conference in the NCAA tourney or even in bowl games

But never for Cowboys' NFC East Rivals.
Never

:muttley:

I promise you that they don't pull for the Cowboys in any circumstance.

Part of me was pulling for Philly because of all the injuries, and I think Pederson is a decent guy. Also I played my four years of football at Rutgers, so I know what's it's like to be the underdog with the expectation of getting your *** beat against certain opponents. The other part of me was hoping for a 35 point Seattle victory. I think Russell Wilson is the most underappreciated player in the NFL.

I don't. But I'll come to the divisions defense sometimes. Like when people were saying a crap team from the NFCE is going to make the playoffs while the rams stay hone. I don't want to hear that after that comedy act they brought to Texas.

It's understandable because the NFC East has the most Super Bowl wins---13. With the exception of this season, this division brings out the competitive mentality in each team.
