If we can just find a way to 7-9 (and Romo can find a way back to the field ASAP) I like our chances.

Do we win the tiebreakers if others are at 7-9 also?

I don't see everybody losing 3 out of 4 so I imagine a couple of us might be 7-9

It depends... It depends who is 7-9, and how we all got there. If we are 7-9, but beat Wash in the final game, we will have the tie-breaker I believe.
If we are 7-8, and happen to lose to Washington to be 7-9, it gets murkier. It will depend on other factors undetermined at this time (Common games, Conference record happenings over the last 4 weeks)

Sounds great to me.
Agree, if we can beat GB, then we can run the table.
Eagles do it on STs and turnovers against NE. We may need that type of help to beat GB and another strong performance by the Defense. But it can be done.

But now waiting for the thread to be hijacked by the naysayers as usual.

Offense not exactly a powerhouse, but they can move the ball with Cassel. They just need to get TDs and not settle for FGs

I think our defense is due for turnovers and with Rodgers the only legit QB we face along the way, I think they start coming.

I hope last week was a sign Lawrence is heating up and not just a random 2 sack game. He has played well this season just hasnt been hitting home. Good pressure from both edges against weak QBs could go a very long way

Next week is huge. Ive seen it written that we match up well with GB's WR's. Much of the press before last seasons PO game was how Rodgers wasnt healthy and how he could struggle against us. Early on it looked like they were right. Im never counting that man out

OK, to update my post from last week, I have updated my predictions below:
Am wondering if I will get more or less grief from Naysayers now that we have a win under our belts, and my prediction is on track (for the most part - the Eagles LUCKED out an improbable win over the Patriots, which proves the point that ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN IN THE NFL...) Don't give up!

Giants remaining schedule 2-2, 7-9 (8-8 at best if they luck out a win over Jets):
L - Jets (in the books, as predicted)
W- Dolphins
L - Panthers
L - Vikings
W - Eagles

Commanders remaining schedule 1-3, 6-10 (or if they pull out a win vs. Bears or Bills, 2-2, 7-9):
L - Cowboys (in the books, as predicted)
L - Bears
L - Bills
W - Eagles
L - Cowboys

Eagles remaining schedule 0-5, 4-12 (non-factor, even if they luck out 2 wins, they suck):
L - Patriots (OK - was a W, they won that one, but THEY SUCK - still say NON factor)
L - Bills
L - Cardinals
L - Commanders
L - Giants

Cowboys remaining schedule 4-0, 7-9 / 8-8:
W - Commanders :starspin: (in the books, as predicted)
W - Packers (possibly L, but I doubt it as they are on a 2-4 kick - should be 1-5 if not for HAIL MARY)
W - Jets - Jets and Bills are 2 average teams in the AFC, Cassel knows them well (playing for NE,
W - Bills - and he knows the Bills playbook ;)
W - Commanders (We can do it again, plus they are 0-5 on the road)

7-9 tie = we win (with 4-2 division record),
or 8-8 tie = we win (with 4-2 division record)
or 8-8 = win outright

This outcome is VERY feasible and is exactly what Sean Lee, Dez Bryant and the players are thinking right now.

NEVER Give Up!!

Like I said, I could appreciate your courage, but it was beyond a longshot once Romo went down. But please, no more playoff scenario threads.

Wow, did we play awful. Didn't count on the rain. Cassel couldn't throw the ball, Dez couldn't catch the ball. The running game looked decent, but wasn't enough. That L didn't knock us out, but we definitely have to win out, and need help to entertain any thought of winning the division. Playoff scenarios are now moot unless and until it matters going into week 17.

It's over.

Philly is likely going to win the division at 8-8 now. Lose to Arizona but then beat Washington at home and a Giants team in NY that will have nothing to play for.

With the week 14 results coming in, the OP's homerism is showing. Things just aren't working out.

The downfall of the predictions are chalking up automatic losses to a team like the Jets. They are 8-5, play in the AFC East and have a tough D and two stud WRS...and a new coach who is pretty good. Much of the guessing was flawed to start because we are bad overall.
