At first glance, the NFC East has some tough finishes.

The Giants are screwed the last 6 or 7 weeks.

Dallas might be in the best shape of all four teams.

Dallas Gets the 3rd place schedule, but has the hardest schedule (opponent win %) in the Division. Dallas also has to travel signinficantly more miles than anyone else (Dal 20,232 mi vs Wash 12,342 mi, NY 15,428 mi, Phi 13,276 mi). That surprised me. I figured teams on East/West coast would travel more. Guess they got a lot of games on their own side of the country

We play the AFC East this year. They are on the east coast. We are not.

Same old thing...opener is on the road and we get the first bye.

I actually like our schedule. 3 of the first 4 are games we should win. Could head into New England at 3-1 with two weeks to prepare. Then the only real chances for some frigid weather are at NYG in the finale and maybe at Washington on November 30.

The first four games couldn't be much better, IMO. The Cowboys usually start fast, something I think the team will return to this year, so I'm pretty confident against the Jets. And the next 3...if the Cowboys do return to form, say 2007 style, there is no way they should lose to any of those teams.

Or course, they do have to show up and play. We'll see.

Well it's because Dallas has to go to Washington, NY, Philly, which are all fairly close to each other while each of them only has to make one long distance trip...to Dallas. (for games within the division). That's probably what has a lot to do with it.

I dread waching the Cowboys play at home. Though their record doesn''t really reflect it, they play much better as a team on the road. And they've been that way for several years.

They have been especially horrible against the Giants in Dallas.

Looks like we got the 2 tough AFC games on the road (along with the Giants) and the Commanders and Eagles got them at home.
