The Giants are a pretender with stars that beat up on weak teams, but they have no run game, and their defense gives up a lot to the better teams. On their recent 6 game win streak, their opponents were 14-40.

Not worried about Bucs.

I am :(. But only in the sense that they're getting hot at the right time and have a semi decent well-rounded team. They can go vertical and run the ball, and their linebackers are very quick to the ball. I was laughing at them for firing Lovie and promoting Koetter, especially when they started out 3-5.

Winston is scary good, and has the poise and control and confidence to play in big games (unlike the Cousins, Ryan's of the world).

With that said, we're a better team. And now with Thomas out (SEA) we have to be a clear favorite to take it to the show, Robbie.

Just wanted to point out that the Bucs will be no easy win, not in the playoffs. Great young team. But really, in the playoffs any team we face will be a challenge. I'm counting on Garrett to have them ready to fight tooth and nail :)

Yeah. I agree that they're much improved. I saw quite a bit of their recent games and they've had some very impressive wins. I just don't think they're a threat to knock us off. But you're right that they shouldn't be overlooked.

I noticed some people rejoicing in other teams' injuries, or scared of them being strong etc etc .. I can understand of those are millennials and never had a taste of the real Dallas Cowboys ... You see how people look at the pats now? Double it and you will recognize how dominant the Dallas Cowboys were...

And to simplify ..think of this .. In the last 21 years , we haven't made it to the conference final, and we made it to the playoffs only 3 times with only 2 wins. All our rivals at least made it to one superbowl during that period .. STILL!!!!! WE HAVE THEM MOST POSTSEASON IN ALL NFL. Teams are still catching up with us on superbowl appearances for Gods sake.

I wish everybody is 100% healthy and I want the best there is to play in the playoffs... I wanna beat the best out there

Millenials? Lol

Bro, some of us know football regardless of our age. We also follow other teams in other sports that win championships, so we know what it takes. Some of us follow multiple sports and have rooted for world champs (and in my case, multiple world champs), where the same dynamics apply.

Take your millennial bs and flush it. If you have a complex with an age gap, keep it to yourself, no need to generalize, brah.

When did this "millennial" thing start? It's weird.

I think every game on our schedule is a winnable game meaning I think we are the better team and will win. The only way we lose the rest of the regular season games is if we beat ourselves. I agree with Verdict, we're going to get each team's best shot because we've shown in the Vikings game that even we play bad we still win. Every team knows one mistake against us and we'll take it to them. Right now the biggest games I'm concerned about is Tampa Bay and Detroit. I think we're going to smash the Giants next week. We'll be looking for revenge and we'll be rested for the first time in the last three games.
The Giants have a very good defense and should have won the game against the Steelers. It was Eli (he sucked) that loss the game for the Giants. If the other Eli shows up for the Cowboys game we would be in trouble.

That's the problem with that dude, you never know what Eli you're gonna get.

Like Forrest Gump's "Box of Chocolates" lol

TB moves ahead of Washington in the WC as the 6th seed for now, and I am fine with that.
Now if NY will go on a losing streak, and a few other teams move up, then both of them will be out.
Only thing is, those 2 teams chasing them, are Vikings and Packers.
When it comes to the playoffs, it's time to take all comers if you wanna get where you want to go. As fans, we hope this team and that team don't come knocking on our door. As players, you play.

I don't care who comes knocking, let's do our thing!

We have three games in a row against playoff caliber teams.
Giants
Tampa
Detroit

We win these three we have shown we're the beast in the NFC.

A solo prime time game against the only team that has beaten them, on the road, nationally broadcasted, for the division championship and home field advantage,,, I don't think Dallas will be overlooking this one.

I don't think Dallas will be over looking them either, but this one could be a tough one to win.

Perhaps in that is true for the regular season.. but the best will be honored in late Jan and early Feb. Until we are there to be honored, we haven't proved anything.

Common opponent nuttiness.

In Week 1, the Steelers traveled to Washington and controlled pretty much the whole game--although Washington was battling most of the game. Currently, Washington is in third place in the division.

A couple weeks pass and the Eagles whitewash the Steelers in Philadelphia. Now Philadelphia is in the division cellar.

At mid-season, the Cowboys and Steelers played one of, if not, the best game of the 2016 league season--trading scores back-and-forth. The Steelers lost a great game to the division's top team then and now.

Finally, the Giants didn't score on the Steelers until the second half yesterday. The Giants are playing second fiddle in the division to the Cowboys now.

You can't really tell anything about strengths and weaknesses basing opinion on how well or poorly teams do against common opponent in this era of the NFL.

They were never even competitive in the game.

If we beat the Giants then everything should fall into place.

We just need to win 2 out of 4, doesn't matter who they are against. If they lose to the Giants and then beat the Bucs and Lions or some combination of Bucs/Lions and Eagles, it still counts the same.

Just win 2/4 and it doesn't matter what anybody else does.
