I noticed some people rejoicing in other teams' injuries, or scared of them being strong etc etc .. I can understand of those are millennials and never had a taste of the real Dallas Cowboys ... You see how people look at the pats now? Double it and you will recognize how dominant the Dallas Cowboys were...

And to simplify ..think of this .. In the last 21 years , we haven't made it to the conference final, and we made it to the playoffs only 3 times with only 2 wins. All our rivals at least made it to one superbowl during that period .. STILL!!!!! WE HAVE THEM MOST POSTSEASON IN ALL NFL. Teams are still catching up with us on superbowl appearances for Gods sake.

I wish everybody is 100% healthy and I want the best there is to play in the playoffs... I wanna beat the best out there

Beast does not cheer for injuries. If we are not good enough to beat somebody at full strength, then so be it. I am not going to cheer because the dude in Seattle got hurt and if we meet the Hawks in the NFC Title game it might give us a better shot of beating them.

Fans that do that are basically admitting that they don't think the Cowboys can beat the Hawks straight up so we need to have help.

We just need to win 2 out of 4, doesn't matter who they are against. If they lose to the Giants and then beat the Bucs and Lions or some combination of Bucs/Lions and Eagles, it still counts the same.

Just win 2/4 and it doesn't matter what anybody else does.

yes but starting off the crunch month with a second loss to the Giants sets the wrong tone. better to thump them and continue to move towards clinching it as soon as possible. obviously this just my opinion...

Yes, a win would be preferable, I don't want to have to go on the road in week 17 needing a win for HFA and having the already eliminated Eagles playing spoiler.

The dam Eagles would treat that game like its "their SB".

As will others. The ghost of previous late season collapses still haunts me...

I know at least two Seahawks fans that are proclaiming they will beat us in the NFC Championship game. We haven't even gotten there yet and somehow they doubt the Cowboys are any good or not good enough to beat their precious team.

Common opponent nuttiness.

In Week 1, the Steelers traveled to Washington and controlled pretty much the whole game--although Washington was battling most of the game. Currently, Washington is in third place in the division.

A couple weeks pass and the Eagles whitewash the Steelers in Philadelphia. Now Philadelphia is in the division cellar.

At mid-season, the Cowboys and Steelers played one of, if not, the best game of the 2016 league season--trading scores back-and-forth. The Steelers lost a great game to the division's top team then and now.

Finally, the Giants didn't score on the Steelers until the second half yesterday. The Giants are playing second fiddle in the division to the Cowboys now.

You can't really tell anything about strengths and weaknesses basing opinion on how well or poorly teams do against common opponent in this era of the NFL.
In this NFL, it doesn't matter who you play but when you play them. Which brings me back to the Giants game. We lost by 1 point against them in week one and Dak and Zeke were not in stride yet. They're playing a different and more confident Cowboys team. Dak and Zeke are light years away from the first time the Giants played us. I'm not going to get too concerned about Eli and such. IF we play our game I believe we will win. I think they are more scared of us then we are of them. If I was a fan of any other NFL team, I think the three teams that I would not want to face is the Patriots and the Cowboys.

New Era for the Cowboys, I truly believe those days are gone. 3 games in 11 days against playoff caliber teams got rid of the November and December fears for me. We'll be alright, these young cats were in high school when our december collapses took place.

I would feel great. Why wouldn't I? I'm a season ticket holder and have been for 10 plus years
Season ticket holder!!! Man I'm so jealous it hurts. That's cool tho, I'm happy for you. If you ever miss a game and need to get rid of a ticket I know a dude that will take it off your hands. His profile picture is Kilo Ren and he goes by the name Plymkr on a certain Cowboyszone website. Super cool guy, I'm friends with him.

Ok fine, it's me, full transparency going here. Lol, going to the games is awesome experience. I have been to 4 in my life. 2 home games and 2 away games. It's really fun.

What their fans say means jack, unless they are suiting up they cant do jack about what happens on the field. They are spectators just like all of us are.

My whole point was that I never cheer or get happy when opposing players get injured, not saying you or anybody else does, just making a blanket statement.

I think that is why we are seeing so many of these "well, if A happens, we just need to win 2/4 and if B happens, then we just need to win 1/4"

Cowboy fans are so used to late season collapses that we think they will just happen every year like its totally normal and we pour over the schedules trying to figure out how we can back-in to HFA when we start blowing all our games in December.
