That would be my power ranking at this time with a toss up with GB playing TB and DAL playing LAR and WFT playing SF.

The East is the only division with so many division games to close out the season. The others have a couple but the East is going to get really interesting with 4 division games for DAL, WFT and PHL.

DAL can make it a little less interesting by beating the WFT and going 3 up with 4 to play, beat the NYG the next week and make it a total win out for the WFT and total lose out for DAL in order for DAL to lose the division.

This game in D.C. is shaping up to be the scene setter for the final stretch because they and DAL control their own destiny, win out and win the division for WFT and DAL has an easier path but if they lose in D.C. that path gets a little more treacherous with AZ, PHL and WFT still to come.

It is highly likely DAL will have to go on the road if they win that first playoff game at home. If they cannot take care of WFT in this next game, that does not bode well for a team needing to be a road warrior to get to the Big Dance.

If DAL is to make any noise in the playoffs, they must win this game in D.C. against a team playing their hated rival and on a 4 game win streak. This game is going to have a playoff atmosphere with those fans and that team believes in their QB.

We've debated if this team is ready to take the next step and that gets answered this Sunday.

It could all come crumbling down if we lose to Wash. This could be the greatest collapse in Cowboys history without losing our starting QB. And we could be regulated to fighting for WC slot.

OMG this game Sunday in Washington is so huge. Of course if we win will go up 3 games with 4 to go all but sealing the division and at least the 4th seed.

But CC, this game Sunday is full of all the drama a fan forum could hope for .

Our playoff seed will probably tell us everything we need to know about how far this team will go. If we play well to finish the season, we'll end up as the three or four spot(with an outside chance at the #1 seed) and I'll be thinking SB, or we piddle around and barely sneak in and I'll have visions of the last couple decades.

all we need to worry about is handing our own business, if we win this game Sunday its over for them IMO. so this game is truly a must win for the sake of making it easier the rest of the way..game of the year from where i sit, stops their momentum, starts new win streak for us and puts us 3 games up on them plus guarantees a split with wins against all 3 already..

lastly for me it would shut up our weak fans that keep worrying about WFT..any win is good but but whooping like the ATL game and shut down all this talk..ill take an ugly saints type win but would rather we shut the door on this wft talk..

seriously sick of all these posts..we are in 2 game lead we sit in first..odd it feels like we are last reading all these weekly threads..

this feels like the 2019 game against philly 2 with win it nearly shuts the door on the east a loss lets them back in..got to treat this like a one and done deal even though a loss doesn't spell doom for us..

you are correct, this is shaping up as a battle more so then the usual heated east games....

If Wash wins Sunday I could see them finishing at least 10-7. And we’d be scrambling to win a couple more games to gain a WC.

I suppose a 9-8 or 10-7 WC finish would still be considered progress from last years 6-10 disappointment.

I been consistently stating that I think we finish 10-7. I think thats about right. Yes, that would be good progress. Even when we went on a win streak, I said it. I knew we would kinda hit a valley. Its a long season. I think were about to hit another mini win streak. If we win say the next 2, that will be 3 in a row. Then I think we win the division. We will begin 2 rest starters after that. I hate that actually, but I see it that way.

This is no doubt our biggest game of the year and arguably the biggest game in McCarthy stint. This game could decide his future moving forward.

A couple of weeks ago, I would've put Minnesota ahead of Washington and Philly.
But then they lost Dalvin Cook for the season, and then Theilan went down this week.

Rankings look pretty good to me, as of today.

Man, I don't see it as THAT huge.
We have a two-game lead, not one.

Now if we lose this week and both teams hold serve until the next meeting, then THAT would be a huge game....

Either way, I'm excited about the game.

CC, it all comes down to our Oline.

If our Oline finally decides to show up and block well, that would help get our running game going, thus better help our passing attack to open up and carve out the WFT defense.

We know our D is going to perform better with Randy Gregory and Neville Gallimore back, enabling our starting Dline to play together for the first time all season. That will greatly benefit our LBs and DBs.

The key to beating the WFT is our Oline. This team will go according to how our Oline plays. Period.

With this set up If the top 7 is the seeding.
It would be:
SF at GB
WFT at TB
LAR at Dallas

But I seen last night that WFT is the 7th seed.

Here's a little something to think about. Lose this game Sunday and it is probable that DAL goes to PHL in a win and in situation or an elimination game. You like that? Me neither, I've seen that movie before and everybody dies in the end.

There was a time that I was OK with DAL needing a little help to get in but no more.

This game Sunday is a playoff game to me. DAL wins and I feel pretty good about their chances in the playoffs to reach the NFCCG but lose and I am not sure they even belong in the playoffs. They have an extra 3 days to prepare, no excuses, a true contender wins this game.

I wasn't referring to playoff matchup, just the evenness of those teams, those are pick'em games to me.

PHL was the 7th until WFT beat LV but that can change this next weekend.

The whole NFCE is finishing up playing each other. I guess the schedulers figured we all needed some time to get our teams fully operational before the nut cuttin games should start.

Oh ok, I guess I read it the wrong way on that first line after your list.
