With Love most likely out and McCaffrey having issues, maybe this is our year.

Every team has it's players issues be it physical issues or drama out of the whole year that the team has to deal with.

The one ace in the whole with Dallas that has always remained a constant over the years is a owner who plays GM because he can, and one who can be even a bigger drama queen than his players that his coaches have to deal with.

With the way this year has played out with players contracts, either Jerry Jones is a brilliant mastermind or he's been hitting the sauce WAY too much this year. Which one would you bet on?

I'm believing that we have a team that's ready to compete for a championship, I'm not saying they'll win but we have a team that's capable. With that said, with these teams in the way: SF, Phi, Det, GB, Rams, will we be able to beat these teams to get another ring.


They'll say DUH Coog the season hasn't even started yet, but hey can't we dream at least??? Please give your thoughts, I know you've got them!!

So....basically....the only thing standing in our way from a SB win, is just 31 other teams trying to win it too.

SO....the main thing here, if I'm summarizing your hypothesis correctly, is that IF we can beat all of those 31 teams, and not let them beat us, we could very well win a championship. But...WILL we beat those teams, or will those teams beat us, seems to be the main question this year (unlike every other year for every other team in every other sport)

Hmmmmm.....you've given me something to think about. Thoughts?

Wouldn't it be great if we could go down to KC, beat them, then beat Buffalo the following week? We don't even compete against those teams. I don't get it.

I am not sure I would put the Rams up there with the rest of those teams, but the difference between those other teams and the Cowboys is the defensive lines are better. We'll have to see what Phillips and Joseph bring but my expectations are tempered. Also, they all have quality RBs and can run the football. I don't know what to expect from the Cowboys RBs.

Dak Prescott has a passer rating of 100.6 with 3,402 yards, 24 touchdowns and 8 interceptions in 13 games against the Eagles in his career.

If the Packers have to play without Love for a month, they may be 0-4 and out of the race. The only teams that worry me are San Fran, Philly, and Detroit. But us and Philly have a habit of losing a game or two that they shouldn't every year.

Only way GM Jethro wins a SB is with a ton of key injuries to other teams.

A lot of delusion at the beginning of the season for pretty much every team's fans. Kansas City fans are the only ones that should be uber bullish. Reality will set in eventually, I guess.

There has been no evidence at all that the core group of current Cowboys will play their best football in the post season or against better football teams. It's not pessimism, it is just plain factual evidence which has occurred over the last 4 or 5 seasons. The team is basically doing the same thing with the same players/coaches and expecting a new result. Hope and dreams (delusion) is all we really have.
