NFCCG: Cardinals-Panthers Thread

It's going to be a long off-season for the Cardinals. This has really been an epic choke.

Fitz is going to be one of those guys who deserves to be in the hall, but will end of being discounted with no rings to his name.

No, he won't. Fitz will get in because he had a monster post season the year the Cardinals went to the Super Bowl and would have been SB MVP had Big Ben not led the game-winning drive with an awesome catch by Santonio Holmes.

If Denver's pass rush comes to play like it did today, I wouldn't be so sure about that.

That's what I'm referring to. They won't be rushing Tom Brady who could do a Rocky/Apollo foot race reenactment with Jason Witten. You overly pursue Newton and you create lanes that he can exploit.

That will tell the story of the Super Bowl. That matchup.

Panthers secondary is still suspect over the top..

But Manning doesn't have the arm.. And his protection did not look that good..

Carolina seems to be like Dallas 92, coming of age..

But Wade is a great D-coordinator so I wouldn't count them out..

This coronation scene on the Panthers sidelines is longer than the one that was in Frozen.

Yeah, with some people it is about race. Some of the criticism Cam is getting when white quarterbacks like Rodgers don't get the same is possibly racially motivated.

Some people don't like their blacks arrogant. They prefer them docile instead.

There's a big difference in what Rodgers sometimes does when he scores and what Cam does picking up a first down, much less a TD. And no I'm not naïve enough to think there's not a racial element with some.

Tell me somebody didn't just compare this Panthers team to the Cowboys of 92.

Jesus H. Christ. Go to bed and deliver your papers in the morning.

I can't imagine many people can love football and single out just Cam because he is black...85% of the players are black. A true racist wouldn't even watch the sport.

I see nothing in common with Aaron Rodgers and Cam Newton.
What's wrong with just accepting the fact that time and time again whenever a person acts arrogant it rubs people the wrong way. It's more troubling that so many people prefer to justify or ignore arrogance than speak out against it...

its the same as it is with his DB Norman, or Sherman ect....it's off putting to watch someone act so arrogant regardless of what color they are.

How funny would it have been if Newton would have tore his ACL when dumping that Gatorade?

I never seen so much celebrating done by a football team in my life. I hope Denver rips Carolina a new one.

I think our 90s teams probably have them beat in the celebratory department.

Trust me, if we were winning like this, NO ONE would have a problem with us celebrating.

They are a disciplined unit. The Seahawks had the blueprint in the second half of their game. The bigger issues is how the Broncos are going to the move the ball.
