Well let’s be honest….if it comes down to would I rather have Osa and Bland or Parsons? I’d rather have Parsons.

The deal likely isn't centered around annual salary alone. The contract issues probably revolve around guaranteed money and the length of the deal. Dak likely wants a 4-year contract, while Dallas is aiming for a 5 or 6-year agreement. Personally, I side with the Joneses. I wouldn't reset the market for a QB who hasn't proven he can elevate his team in playoff games. If it were up to me, I'd consider blowing it up and starting over or trading Micah next year for two first-round picks to draft a new quarterback.

That is factually incorrect...

You can't talk numbers and say regardless of the math...

That is how people invent truths or facts?

Your numbers lack basic math...year over year Cap increase and teams cut players before contracts mature....

The reality of todays NFL and contracts is you can only have so many elite contracts on your books. So that means you need to scheme and get over production from the guys making much less. So we and everyone will need to be comfortable being uncomfortable having unproven 1st and 2nd year player protecting your QBs, having a circulation of guys we haven't really heard of in positions we think we can hide them or scheme to minimize their exposure.

Qb's, Edge Rushers and now WR's are all paid so much that they will eat up so much of your cap. It's just how it is.

Well by not caving so far, maybe his philosophy is team first. As to not cripple the future salary cap to keep a great group of core players.

It probably is. This is what Jerry started. He puts himself and his money first so why would the players not? If Dak was me first he would be sitting out right now like Love did. He really could embarrass Jerry right now. He wants to be a leader but I would force Jerry’s hand if I wanted to be here….but I don’t think Dak does.
