NFL AM 15 point Team Challenge

QB Joe Montana - 5
RB Emmitt Smith - 2
WR Marvin Harrison - 1
TE Shannon Sharpe - 2
DEFENSE 85 Bears - 5

Brady - 4, proved he can carry his team with a mediocre defense and decent offense players, in this case he would have a great defense
Smith - 2, all around RB, can carry his team too even with 1 arm
Moss - 4, just goes gets the ball where ever it was thrown
Sharpe - 2, great TE with a surrounding cast with the others, don't need to have top of the list guy
Ravens - 3, rather have the Bears or Seahawks, but only from last years performance. But can't go wrong here either. Plus tight against the cap [points]

85 Bears and you can keep the offense. I think I cried after that cowboy game.
Shoot. I still feel humbled by that game to this very day. We were totally dominated that game and we had a good team.

Was thinking maybe you could do this 15 point thing with all Cowboys, I had to find top 5 lists on like the TE position but it would be something like

5 Roger Staubach
4 Troy Aikman
3 Tony Romo
2 Don Meredith
1 Danny White

5 Emmitt Smith
4 Tony Dorsett
3 Don Perkins
2 Herschel Walker
1 Demarco Murray

5 Michael Irvin
4 Drew Peatson
3 Dez Bryant
2 Terrell Owens
1 Bob Hayes

5 Jason Witten
4 Jay Novacek
3 Doug Cosbie
2 Billy Joe DuPree
1 Mike Ditka

Somebody would need to assist with the defensive squads.

That 2000 Ravens D was something else too, I wasnt alive during that '85 season so I don't have the first hand recolletion but I would rank that Ravens D right up there just from what I witnessed.

I had the privilege of watching both. The 2000 Baltimore Raven's defense was legendary, but I would give the edge to the 1985 Chicago Bears. The Bears stuck it to their opponents in the playoffs too, allowing only ten points which the New England Patriots wrangled together in the Super Bowl. To be fair though, the Ravens were a wild card team, who needed to win four games, compared to the Bears (who received a bye) needing to win only three games, to secure a Super Bowl victory.

Johnny U - takes a backseat to nobody.
Rice - G.O.A.T.
Emmitt - 3 rings shows he gets it done when it counts.
Winslow - would have dominated in any era
85 Bears - no explanation neccessary

That's my thought. You're spending 10 points on the offense. You gotta take the best defense on the list, right? From there, it's just a matter of taste. Same with QB. I think Manning's the best of them there, although Unitas would have been my second choice. Take Emmitt who's a huge value at 2 points, and the WR and TE can fall where they may. But I saved points on the QB, so I 'splurged' on Moss.

My thoughts exactly.
