Was she hot? That is the most important question

So true. Guilt or innocence cannot be determined without knowing.

With that much X I'm guessing yes.

^^cosigns. Former football players dont just bag females almost half their age carrying illegal substances for the female to be ugly.

Even then, no one is in position to pass judgement. Only One is.

Man I know these guys are idiots. But I really hate to see them screw up like this.

Good luck to him on that Lee's Summitt, MO local radio gig.

Actually I believe he is on the radio. The biggest sports station in KC. I am pretty sure it's him, I'm at work when the show is on, so I can't remember which player it is. Lee's Summit is a suburb of Kansas City. I was there for church this morning.

Edit: Just checked their site. Guess he doesn't do the shows anymore, or else they were really quick to take him off there today.

I think he can refuse the search- but then he would be held there untill they got a search warrant. Maybe they would not get one.

If all they had was, "he was acting nervous" I don't see how they could have got a search warrant. Most people act somewhat nervous when dealing with the po-po.

Didnt he have the right to refuse the search?

Sure does. Once you do that, they can bring in the K-9. If he alerts, they can search away.

The gun is not going to be a big thing. Probably just a small fine. It is a small caliber. It is not as if he had an arsenal. I am not a gun person myself, but it just does not seem like a big deal. Now the drugs will probably hurt him more. Lots of money and the possibility of jail time depending on how things go.

Acting nervous? I guess it depends on what he was exactly doing. Sweating, looking nervously around his car, stuttering or stammering or anything else. Whatever it was it gave the cops a hunch and they were right. His cooperation in letting the cops search his vehicle will probably end up gaining him some leniency come sentencing time.

Hope she was worth it Billy!

Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, Goodbye!

the best "Maas gem", during a Panthers-Saints game referring to Steve Smith:

"His hands are like Cobras" lol, W T F?

Do Steve Smith's hands have fangs?

Maas and Irvin could have quite the cook out together.
:)~

I'd go but I am scared of 250+ pound guys all hopped up on Coke and X, I saw Deliverance.

Maas was also booked on a charge of unlawful use of a weapon.

I guess I'm bit confused with Maas getting charged with "unlawful use of a weapon", did they determine this after the bullistic test or something?

I thought he would be charged with something like "unlawful possession of a weapon" rather than what they charged him for.

It does not matter what caliber the handgun is- as long as it is a weapon that is all the law cares about.

sucks for him, he was a decent commentator.....

Always thought it sounded like he was chewing on something though. Smacking his lips n stuff. Kind of sounded like he was working over a bag of laffy taffy.

probably would have brought a dog in to sniff....seems like the right to refuse is probable cause to get searched.

I can't remember exactly what it was now, but 1310 TheTicket used something really stupid he said all the time as a "drop", I'll remember what it was eventually it was like a really bad joke he said during a Lions v Cowboys game.

I don't think I would ever let the police search my car voluntarily. I have never carried a hand gun or drugs but don't really see the reason to ever let that happen without some sort of cause.

I mean, is looking nervous reasonable cause to bring in a dog. The prescence ( or I should say "bringing in" )of a sniffing dog in essence would be an illegal search IMO without some reasonable cause.
