NFL broadcasting rules

I'm currently living in Houston TX, and Dallas and the texans both have 3pm games this weekend. When the home town team is on are other games allowed to be aired or do broadcasting rules not allow it?

I believe the Texans game is shown. CBS has the double header this weekend. Not FOX.

Houston huh. I'm in Huntsville. The few Texan fans I come across are beyond annoying. Win something once in your pathetic existence and we can talk, haha.

Oh I know. I didn't mean to imply that he wasn't. I just meant that living the area as a Cowboy fan Texan fans get annoying.

It's beyond annoying, these texan fans act like they have a franchise with a history of success, though they have never made the post season. Listening to sports radio around here is unbareable when they win a game. I heard several Texan fans call in this week talking super bowl.They also think there is a big rivalry between them and the Boys even though us Boys fans could care less about them.

Exactly. This is the first time to the area, but it has been unbearable this week because the Cowboys lost. The main topic of discussion is the Texans win and the Cowboys getting beat. I am now a fan of the Cowboys and anybody playing the Texans.

I tried to set my DVR this Sunday to record the game on Houston's Fox 26 and discovered it is not being aired. They are showing the Man U soccer match instead in that time slot. Not happy. Thanks worthless Texans franchise.
