Also, in 1995 the Cowboys and 49ers were the premier franchises in the NFL.

In the last 25 years, the 49ers have started over and built two separate Super Bowl rosters.

We haven't made it past the 2nd round of the playoffs.

Yep glad to see Aaron lose. Hopefully he calls it a career. SF reminding me of the Cowboys in the 90s. How the heck did they turn that team around so fast?

They went through their dark years starting in the late 90's after Dallas' started. Then became a contender going to multiple NFCC games and even a SB. That got blown up and now totally rebuilt again into a dominant SB team.

Dallas meanwhile is still going through it's same drought since last getting to a SB or NFCC game in '95.

Jimmy G tore his ACL in week 3 last season. They lost 9 of their next 10 games.

Nick Bosa was a great pick but having their starting QB all season made a difference.

You meant having a great defense......WAS the difference.
