McKinnley actually kinda reminds me of Lawrence. And that's not a good thing for a 1st round pick.

Looks to be a pretty good athlete but I don't see the classic dip and bend speed rusher. Nor do I see much of any pass rush moves or good hand usage. I see him beating Pac12 OT's with not a whole lot more than a good initial burst and good hustle and effort. Don't get me wrong, that's not the worst skillset to have, I just don't see him as a top 30 talent.

Only position more over drafted than pass rush is QB in general. That is why so many bust.

Agreed. For me it's...
Garrett
Allen
Thomas
Barnett

Taco

Everyone else. The kid from Nova might be my 6th right now honestly, if I'm going to gamble on anyone it would probably be that freakish talent.

Wouldn't hate the McKinley pick at all but make no mistake picking him is more about potential than production. 16 sacks in three years isn't great but yes I agree that his NFL upside is tantalizing.
If we went WR I'd take Corey Davis over Mike Williams.

So would I....Davis is dynamic and has great hands. Good route runner too.

Me too.

I've only watched a bit, but Corey Davis is TO. So explosive

Tre'Davious White at #11 is surprising. He's a productive CB and I like him a lot. If his size/wt check out, I was hoping for him to be one of our targets at #28. I wonder if Jeremiah is getting his info from GMs.

Watch White vs Treadwell from 2 years ago. No thanks.

I hope they take the BPA available instead of focusing on a need.

Witten is one of my favorite DFW athletes but OJ Howard would be quite tempting to play next to him and learn for a year. I don't see him still being available when we pick.

A WR that falls would also be tempting even with as much as help as the defense needs.
