The problem is there's absolutely no proof that this is happening. The coach has a connection to Sparano as well.

I just find it highly unlikely that this is something Red doesn't want but would be forced into.

BTW... I doubt it's going to be just between the Jets and us. There's still a lot of coaching dust that needs to settle around the league, and I'm sure at least another team or two will want Sparano. Especially watch a situation like KC, where Pioli is definitely in the Parcells family, and you know how those guys always stick together. There's even been some speculation that Crennel might keep the job there, and Tony would fit in perfectly there.

Well, I don't believe this is a Jerry move against the head coach, but if it is, then yes...it's a bad thing. I don't care how good of a coach you're bringing in. You don't do that to your head coach.

But I'm 99.9% sure this is all BS and Sparano would come back here with the full approval of Jason Garrett.

I don't think he sucks at all. I think he was a victim of circumstance in Miami and he still had his team playing hard through a wasted season.
