I don't see the cowboys home site mentioning a Parcells press conference today so which site will be the quickest to list the cuts Dallas made? NFL.com? kffl?

"By 5 p.m. today the Cowboys must trim the roster to 53 players. Over the next few hours owner and general manager Jerry Jones, Parcells, the scouting department and the assistant coaches will have to make the final calls on who makes the team and who doesn't."

And I think that's eastern time. Central would be 4 p.m. Hawaii time 11 a.m.

I asked this in another thread, but no response. If you had to cut MBIII or Thompson, who do you cut and hope clears waivers?

Cuts have to be into the League office nlt today at 5:00PM. I think during Parcells PC on Friday he mentioned he would have a PC today but don't remember the time -- probably arund 1:30PM. FYI: GBN has a page devoted to today's cuts (they also list cuts for Aug 30. You might find it useful to search out other teams' cut for players we might be interest in.

The Cincinnati Bengals announced they have waived DT Langston Moore.
MIGHT BE A 3-4 LOOKSIE

Jets Safety Francisco might be a FS looksie. Caught up in a numbers game.

Anybody think we should get Swinton to be our final WR and kick returner when he is cut?

He's a great kr but stinks as a wr. Parcells doesn't like one dimensional players.

If we don't get Swinton, then A.Glenn had better return kicks, cause our kickoff team sucks!

I always liked Swinton and we could use a kickoff return man. And I actually though he did a decent job filling in at WR for Detroit last year in the limited amount that I got to see him anyway.

I think I'd rather have Swinton than Copper. Once you get that far down the depth chart at WR you are talking more about special teams than receiving ability anyway.

No interest in Swinton unless he wants to rap during halftime of the Thanksgiving Day game. ;)
