FYI for those that don’t know, on ABC they have the college game day crew with Nick Saban doing the draft. Really cool to hear Saban’s analysis

Yeah I am usually bullish on Roseman and his moves but that is an odd trade. They still need LB help.

I think they got a 3rd back.

Eagles get: No. 40, No. 78 (3rd round), No. 152 (5th round) Commanders get: No. 50, No. 53, No. 161 (5th round)

40 = 500 points
78 = 200 points
152 = 30.6

730.6 points

50 = 400
53 = 370
161 = 27

797 points. Eagles lost the trade by 67 points (a mid 4th round pick) to get Cooper DeJean.

That would have been a great pick and I feared it as well. They spent a ton in FA on LB though...

Wow........this is insane. This class is hella deep @ CB. But here is your mega run....Why the hell burn a 2nd on a CB that runs a 4.6 40? That's just unreal......Had a 4th round grade on Lassister....and If it was me.....I wouldn't have drafted him.

He had good things to say about the Guyton pick yesterday. Really thinks he has the potential to be very, very good.

Hopefully. They do make moves to make sure they get the player they want. No one knows how any of the guys being drafted are going to work out in the NFL.

Yeah, we're set up to where we don't have to worry about picking a player at a position we're set at because of free agency.
