I think Payton Wilson's injury history (understandably considering Sean Lee and LVE) scared them off. So, Marist is the pick instead, and he's a good run stopper.

Well he should be a welcome addition then.

I hear you Rusty, but Marist barely had 100 tackles in his entire career at Notre Dame. That is not very good production for a multi year starter.

I would have liked him in the 5th and Lloyd in that final 3rd round slot.

Not necessarily. There's a back that I want in round 5 or 6 from Washington (Dillon Johnson) who would be a great pick. He reminds me a lot of Murray.

Boys and girls that guy would have been available at least 50 picks later. No one had him close to a third round grade. From a value standpoint that was one crappy pick.
