Drafted by Cowboys NFL Draft: Day 1 Thread

This pick proves the Cowboys continue to fail to coach up Offensive Linemen. Why trade for and sign so many veteran O-linemen in recent months? What about Brock Hoffman? If Brock proves to be the better Right Guard in camp and preseason, are you going to bench him simply to please Jerry's dumb ego for overdrafting once again??? How many 1st round picks on the Oline does this franchise need while neglecting other positions of need?

For all the people crying for a TE in the first. How many TEs taken in the first round actually pan out? TE is a weird position with mid to late round TEs breaking out every other year while the first rounders are good but rarely superstars.

Walter Nolen in our penetration system would have been great. We need more DAWG's on defense. We don't have many.

and we probably would not have made the playoffs had he not been on the line. I mean, you can use the quote for any position on the field: 'Ceedee had 3 great seasons and we won one playoff game in that entire time'. 'Witten had a HoF career and we won....." "DeMarcus Ware had a HoF career here and we won...'

That sentence is completely meaningless.
So the bar you are using are hof level players to justify your stance?

Guards are hardly ever taken that high in the draft. And when you factor in that with Zack, we had Demarco Murray (OPOY) and Zeke running for 1700 yards. Right now, we have Miles Sanders, Deuce Vaugnh, and Javonte Williams in the backfield

Try to actually fire off some of our brain cells. Andy Reid didn't just "figure out" the offensive line. And because of that, his once MVP QB that everyone thought was the next Brady is now looking to be a top 12 QB because he doesn't have the time in the pocket to do what he used to do.

The idea here that you don't take a guard in the top 15 because "premium positions" despite you leaving out the context of the draft. I guarantee if you listed off guys in those premium positions, they'd be a bigger reach than what you're crying about now.
Look...if you can only converse with people that slobber on whatever Jerry does, year after year, decade after decade, OF FAILURE, then there's plenty of those types here.

But that's not me. And that's not crying. It's disagreeing with a failure of a GM...who now has a 3 decade long record of failure.

This isn't even a great guard. He's great in a phone booth...but he's really shaky blocking rushers in space. He's not Quinton Nelson (who, by the way, how much did he move the needle for the Colts?)

I'm sure you loved the Mazi pick too, and perhaps still do
