Drafted by Cowboys NFL Draft: Day 2 thread

Wow I just realized that the Bucs drafted WR Egbuka who might be the most pro ready to start asap. They already have Mike Evan, Chris Godwin (who may or may not be ready the start of the nfl season), and Jalen McMillan who had a decent season.

Btw I can see us going into this season with the current WR's we have on the dept chart. Ceedee WR 1. Tolbert, Mingo, and Turpin can fight it out at WR 2,3 and 4. Especially if we plan to be run heavy team (which is kind of backwards to what the league is moving to lol).

The way this team is neglecting the RB room is beyond sad. This is the franchise of Don Perkins, Calvin Hill, Tony Dorsett, Emmitt Smith, Marion Barber, DeMarco Murray, and (prime) Zeke.

And they are trying to sell us Javonte Williams and Miles Sanders....
9 more picks to play with so don’t give up hope.

You should take a look at all the playoff teams from last year. You’ll be disappointed about how they were at running the ball because it shows how wrong you are.

It's kind of wild that only 2 DB's have been picked in the first round. It will probably be a run on WR's and DB's in round 2.

We need someone to take the pressure off CD. Right now, our offense is too easy to defend. We have one guy who can scare a defense. We have no threat at RB. All teams have to do is double CD and this offense is going nowhere. We need another credible threat at WR and a home run threat at RB. Tyler Warren would have been a far more valuable addition to the offense than a G.

Stephen has basically said they won't be drafting a WR on day 2. I don't mind that strategy as long as that means we get a mad dog RB that can take advantage of having a great O-line.

I agree with the draft zone conclusions. It should come down to either a CB or RB in the 2nd. Of course only one of those is a premiere position but if they take G at 12, then who cares anymore.

Maybe they get a DE, doubtful, and I already thought they are very happy with their big money high draft status DTs like they are happy at the two OTs because of money and sunk cost they are "happy" and won't upset that position's entitlement.

lets go one round at a time. For you guys in the know, can we get luther burden in round 2

Hey if the kid has a chip on his shoulder about sliding into the 2nd round and actually puts in the work and has some of his old man's skill.

I don't think the sideshow is ever going to be something you can separate from the Cowboys. The best you can hope for is a competent sideshow who wants to win.
