Drafted by Cowboys NFL Draft: Day 3 thread

Agree…..his performance was not 5th round….his baggage was I think. U draft him, u get Deion, that families media stuff, and the spotlight. Lavar Ball was very involved but when his kids were drafter he stepped back…..maybe the GMs don’t think Deion will and would be too much of a distraction. I’m sure locker room vets don’t need/want all that crap from a rookie and the circus that might come with him.
Hard to bring the level of entitlement that has been reported being a 5th round pick. Hopefully this process opened his eyes and he's able to move forward with humility. Could be what he needed. Time will tell.

I'm thinking WR.......

Isaiah Bond WR Texas/Alabama
Tez Johnson WR/KR Oregon
Xavier Restrepo WR Miami
I don’t think any of those guys are going to have a chance to be WR2. I guess you could toss them in the WR room and have them compete.

I’m out on Bond though

That's apparently what we are counting on. I have trouble counting on a back, though, who has averaged 3.7 YPC the last two years. If all we do is add the FAs we've added and some late-round draft picks, we've devalued the position again, just like we did last year.
I’d say Dallas is a bit, better off with their free agent moves at RB compared to last year. Williams and Sanders may have something left and may even exceed those expectations (Williams being young and 2 years removed from a knee injury). Zeke and Cook; however, were clearly corpses.
