I likes other RBs better (Ja'Quinden Jackson, Merritt, Montrell Johnson, Corey Kiner, and Rocket Sanders). But, I really like get a big physical RB and he's more nimble than most would think, so good pick philosophical for power run game.

Id have preferred Rocket, but Mafah is might be perfect for us right now

Pre-Draft Analysis​

Mafah rushed for 2,080 yards and 21 touchdowns over the past two seasons. He's a big, patient runner who follows his blocks and makes late cuts between the tackles. Mafah didn't run at the combine and doesn't appear to have elite top-end speed, but he can break some long runs when gets a seam. He lowers his pads and delivers the blow on contact. In the passing game, Mafah is a reliable checkdown; he has the frame and the strength to develop into a reliable pass blocker. -- Steve Muench

I'm betting the way the drafts going a lot of those dudes on that list are going to be undrafted free agents so they might bring in one of them anyway
