Am I missing something or this total fanasy land with the first 3 picks? They all seem like they would be gone, IMO. If not, I'll take it! Not sure about Schueing in Rd4 though.

Like the Stewart pick but don't see him falling to 22. That's about all I like

No CB in the first three rounds would completely piss me off.

That would be a phenomenal draft, although I would be uneasy about CB.

But those would be 4 great players for our team.

I think Schueing is a great pick in the 4th. However, I think he will got in early 3rd. But if he is there, awesome. I think Schueing is probably the 3rd best guard and could be a great replacement for Kosier.

EDIT: NM. I realize that they have us taking Schueing in the 3rd... wasn't thinking straight about the 2 firsts.

I agree that we really must address CB in the 1st 3 slots...preferably in the 1st two..

all credibility gone. DB is our biggest need and we don't pick a single one in the 1st four rounds?

Looking at their Mock Draft, they have McKelvin going 32. Not likely. But switch McKelvin in for Kelly, and I would be estatic.

Stewart
McKelvin
Baker
Schuening

That would be an AMAZING draft. 4 players who project to be top notch starters at their position.

Oooh... they Reggie Smith still there in the 2nd.

Stewart
McKelvin
Reggie Smith
Schuening

LOVE LOVE LOVE

I would not mind either one of these drafts but I do not think it will happen.

Draft SPECIALISTS?
how about drafting for DUMMIES?

Stewart won't be there at #22, and Kelly will be gone before 22 also, let alone #28, Sam Baker round 2?
Why on EARTH would we draft an O.T. when we just resigned Flo, so that leaves ONE OPEN TACKLE SPOT and we have Columbo, Marten, Free, and McQuistan, so why on EARTH woudl we WASTE a 2nd rounder on ANOTHER Tackle???
Schuening in round 3 aint' a bad pick, but GIVE ME ABREAK with the other picks, the top 2 will be long gone and we DEFINATELY don't need another Tackle, let alone in round 2.
I HATE when people are CLUELESS about our draft needs AND where players are projected to go!

LOL. Yeah, most of those guys are WAY out of position. Stewart, Kelly, Baker..and maybe even Schueing are gone. I disgree that we would not take a potentially dominant OT like Baker at the end of Rd2...but it is not a top 3 round priority and he would not be there anyway, so it's a non-issue.

It will be interesting to see if other mock drafts follow Kiper's recent listing of top 25 players and downgrade Jenkins, Kelly, McKelvin & a few others while moving Cromartie way up the list.

BTW: I just hope there will still be a quality CB available with our 22nd pick. Same goes for our other first round pick addressing the WR position. Both are priority needs in IMHO & I'd hold off til 2nd round for Rice (also like). Only reason I'd go along with using first rounder on a RB would be if Jerry doesn't believe we can re-sign MBIII cause he wants too much money after 08 season.

How do you know that Stewart won't be there at pick 22? He's not projected as high as Steven Jackson was and Jackson was @ 22.

While I like a few of the guys they show there they have them not only going far lower than they likely will but the fact that they don't have us taking a corner shows that they have zero clue what they're talking about.

There are two things that that I am absolutely certain about:

1. We will not be drafting an OT early in the draft.
2. We will be drafting a corner early in the draft.

We are not going offense with our first 4 picks.

I agree. I have to scratch my head sometimes after reading these mock drafts. Have these guys not been paying attention to the Cowboys the past year or so?

Even Stevie Wonder knows we need help at cornerback. Sheesh.

Have any of these so-called draft gurus even looked at our roster? Any mock draft that doesn't have us taking a CB with one of our first 3 picks (actually one of our two first rounders) is not worth looking at. We're very thin at CB and will HAVE to draft one early. You'd think these idiots would do just a little homework.
