Here you go: https://www.profootballnetwork.com/nahshon-wright-nfl-draft-player-profile-oregon-state-cornerback/

  • Height: 6’4 1/4″
  • Weight: 183 pounds
  • Position: Cornerback
  • School: Oregon State
  • Current Year: Junior
Positives: Junior-college transfer who started the past two seasons for Oregon State. Tall, thin cornerback who flashes ball skills. Instinctive, quick to read and diagnose, and effectively times his pass defenses. Fluid flipping his hips off the line, displays solid footwork in reverse, and has a nice break to the pass.

Tracks the ball in the air, quickly closes to the action, and possesses a burst of speed. Efficient, takes proper angles, and stays with assignments. Gives effort up the field on the blitz or defending the run.

Negatives: Has a thin build, struggles with physical receivers, and loses out in battles. Shows a little hesitation reacting to receivers’ moves off the line.

Analysis: Wright was a consistent cornerback at Oregon State and showed progress in his game the past three seasons. He possesses size, growth potential, and enough cover skills to play at the next level, but he must improve his playing strength. He’s a Day 3 pick who could initially line up in dime packages as a rookie.

Bad analysis, he wasn’t a “Day 3 pick” lol

I didn't like Molden or Melifonwu, but in retrospect I would have preferred either to this pick. Seems like a Marinelli type pick where he fits a mold that you want and maybe place that above the actual player

He's thin, but has good speed. I wonder if he could play single-high safety. Having a guy that tall back there would be good. Would have prefered Molden, even though he's kind of the opposite of Nashon, not very tall and not very fast.

I could see that. With his speed and height, I could see us shifting him to FS. However, given his height, I get the feeling Quinn is going to at least start him at CB.

Thank God we didn't trade back for more picks. We lucked out with Parsons. I can only imagine how bad this draft would be if we were drafting at 20 with a bunch of extra 3rd and 4th rounders.

Well....I gotta look @ it this way......we really didn't lose anything. Just imagine if we had blown our only 3rd rounder...

So we had an extra pick....and rolled the dice. Who knows...maybe this is Richard Sherman 2.0.
