NFL eliminating the Pro Bowl

Why has there not been some additional news of what the award will someday be called IF keeping the contractual information in line with the honor was a planned temporary thing?

I suspect they wanted to throw this news out there to see the reception. Which seems to be favorable. I think eventually it will be eliminated. Or maybe bring it back when people "miss it" lol.

The product got bad when they started having players not want to part take in it and risk injury. League started softening it up and the product got bad. I don't see how it gets any better with as greedy as the NCAA and the NFL are. It would be a spectacle.

Oh of course. I mean look what they do with the draft. They stretch it out for 3 days now. It's gonna be a lot of NFL Content that week. It doesn't affect me I haven't seen a Pro Bowl in forever and the last one I remember is the one Sean Taylor almost killed the punter lol.

They should. I guess they feel don't have to but I agree. I think that's some missteps the league and other sports do. Just be outright with the plan. Because I know Goodell has a plan. This is a big move and they were making money off the Pro Bowl. For them to do this there's a whole plan. But seems like they are keeping it to their chest.

The probowl had it's height back in the 70s and 80s when it was on Hawaii. The minute they changed it to flag football it became a joke. Also when they moved it before the SB so the SB players couldn't play in it.

Wait, didn't the actual Pro Bowl go away a long time ago? For anyone that doesn't remember, it was played in Hawaii. Then it wasn't. This event being eliminated now is about whatever replaced the actual Pro Bowl. It's worthy of being on the chopping block so good job, owners. It's about time.

It will just eliminate the 4th choice since the first choice can't attend due to injury or still playing. Thank goodness!
