Honestly, we are a few pieces away from being legit, perennial contenders. The way the offensive line and backfield has been built, we will be plug-and-play for the next QB to takes the reigns (obviously finding that QB is another story).

If we get get this defense to a TOP 10 level--watch out.

personally I am going to have a wait and see attitude about this I just don't trust the jones or garrett. When they win consistently for a period of time then maybe I believe. two playoff wins and lots of 8 and 8 or worse seasons with a franchise qb makes one feel that way. I still believe that whatever happens garrett wont lose his job they jones are to comfortable with him and jerry is making money by the barrels and is always in the news and on tv even at 4 and 12 seasons and with jerry its always about the money.

Unless we build a dominant defense, Romo's health is the determinant.
Even with a bad defense and not much of a line, the low point with him playing QB was 8-8....and now that there is a line and run game, the last full season with him was 12-4.

A dominant run game without a top end QB will always need a dominant defense to do anything.
