If the Cowboys beat the Packers and Commanders and the Eagles beat the Vikings the Eagles can treat the game against the Bears like a Preseason game because win or lose they would have to beat Dallas in week 17 for the Division.
So basically they can sit back and see what Dallas does against the Commanders at 1 pm and then just rest their starters for the week 17 showdown. While Dallas on the other hand have to play their starters in the cold in D.C. to force a elimination game.
Just seems like an advantage for the Eagles IMO. What if Dez or Romo gets hurt in that Washington game? While the Eagles keep Shady McCoy and Desean Jackson out of harms way. The Nfl should've just left the times like they were now the Eagles get the benefit of knowing how to play their guys well before that Sunday Night game.

When you piss way games like Detriot, don't start crying about the schedule now
Tough luck, should have sacked up and won some of those early games
Man, this thread is a monument to the fetal position.
Rest their players, or don't rest their players, we have to beat the Eagles in week 17. In order to do that, we want to win the two winnable games between now and then. There's really no point in declaring any games lost until, you know, they're actually played. We're very likely to win one or both of the GB and the WAS games. The PHI game is the one we need to be most concerned about.
The problem is when you play a team that has 6 starters sitting out due to injury, starting 2 rookies on their offensive line, and have their backup QB in the game....................and they score on every single possession.
Hard to take these "we are going to win out" scenarios for real.
