I'm all for eliminating FGs and XPs. Only replacement I can think of, though, is awarding 3 points for getting into the redzone. At least all points would be awarded by a real football play, as opposed to some weird play that has nothing to do with 99% of the rest of the game.

They understand that priority one is scoring and it's not automatic. Start screwing around and you can blow it altogether.

If teams could just score whenever they wanted to they'd never be stopped. Why do some fans not understand?
