Mark Ingram is actually Mark Ingram Jr. His dad was a wide receiver for the Giants. But his dad is a convicted felon, he was doing time down here in Beaumont Texas. So Ingram Jr. took the Jr. off his name to dishonor his dad.

Thanks. Had to google it to find out what he did. Money laundering and fraud were the charges I found. Then sentenced to 2 additional years for jumping bail, to see his son play in the sugar bowl. I wonder if that was what drove JR to disown his dad? Sad story.
