Just for the sake of debating, can you list said games and the manner in which Jason cost us them?

It's not even worth my time to do it. I have wartched every game he has coached and he certainly helped us lose a couple of them. Poor play calling, poor time management, icing the kicker, etc.

For those who haven't seen this...And how Chip Kelly is ranked above Garrett is beyond me?...and Marvin Lewis..and a couple others. I don't know why I continue to read these ridiculous rankings but I can't help it. I keep waiting for a level headed, unbiased list but haven't found one yet. I guess I expect too much......

What has Chip done,,,,he runs the whole show in Philly...he is a good coach, a winning coach and does it without the need of all-star assistants.....he is better than Garrett at this point, just unfortunate he coaches the Eagles. The jury is still out for Garrett...For me, he needs to show he can take this team to the next level, one good year does not = Hero....but its is a good place to start and I am happy with the progress.

JG has literally only had one good season as head coach and one playoff win. He looked lost for his first couple of years/learning on the job. He literally cost us games while learning. Please don't crown him just yet. Let him have a little more success.

Some could say he did a bang up job just keeping the team in the hunt while revamping an aging and under performing roster. If you think about when coaches are finally give a team it usually is a mess personnel wise and the first year or two can be brutal as you bring pieces in to fix things. Something has to be said that he managed to keep them in in it until the last week or two of the season his first 3 years.

I agree with you that that comment should have been challenged. I don't have the heart to listen to the litany of second guessing again. JG has proven his critics wrong in the long run. The questioning of individual play calls doesn't matter. Every single coach ever has people who question his play calls after the fact.

As to the list, it's an attempt to arrange linearly things that aren't directly quantifiable. It only matters whether or not he can build and coach a championship team. I think he probably can.

Garrett's definitely in my top 5 based on the transformation of the complete dumpster fire he inherited.

I'd even go so far as to say the only coach i'd put above him right now is Bill Belichick.

I'm also curious as to how Marvin Lewis still has a job with the Bengals.

He's not really a "frontman" in the same vein as the others...

For the record, the correct answer is either Freddie Mercury or Axl Rose

I think I'd take Freddie, too. Mick Jagger deserves a mention.
