NFL investigating Patriots for possibly videotaping Bengals

This video supports what the Patriots are saying 100%. Some clueless kid was shooting b-roll footage and there was no attempt to use any of this for a competitive advantage.

Nah. That was tactical info gathering. The guy talking didn't sound like a kid to me. The reports are, that there's 8 minutes of this type of recording.

There was a violation of league rules, but clearly not one meant to gain a competitive advantage for football ops. They should lose a day 3 pick and be fined.

Those same threats about losing the team? New England faced them as well... That was brought up as a potential consequence of deflate gate, especially if Kraft sued the league over the punishment...

so Kraft got a handy in a day spa ... no different than jerry groping the strippers a few years back ... except for the caliber of women involved

I am not going to post evidence for all 31 teams, so let’s just say the breaking league rules is extremely common. It just doesn’t generate national headlines (unless it’s the Patriots).

In recent years, we’ve seen the Giants and Browns use illegal game day communications on the sidelines. The Jets have been fined for tampering. The Chiefs lost 2 draft picks for tampering. The Falcons lost a draft pick for pumping in crowd noise at home games. The Ravens have been punished twice for illegal activities during practices (meaning they engaged in contact drills which were forbidden during the window within which they occurred). The Panthers illegally warmed their footballs during a game on live TV for the whole country to see. Just this past year, the Lions and Steelers were caught violating rules for the injury reports. The Raiders were caught doing the same thing last year.

These things happen constantly in NFL. It just only makes national headlines when it’s the Patriots.
