NFL Live has been running a segment for every team asking if you could change 1 single play in a teams history, what play would you change? Today was the Cowboys and it made me wonder what the forum thinks on this. Which one play would you change in the history of the Dallas Cowboys if you could? Jackie Smith drop? The Catch? Something else? What say you Cowboys fans?

I'm not an old fart so I wasn't old enough to actually remember most of the good years

So, I'll just go with Murray holding onto the football in the Packers game. There's a good chance he takes it to the house there and completely changes the game.

I am an old fart, at least old enough to remember The Catch (Montana was trying to throw the ball away). But Those things are ancient history, so I'd agree with you on the Murray fumble. Take that one back and see where the game goes, maybe live to play another week.

The no-call pass interference on Deion in the 94 NFCC. Dallas would have won 4 straight super bowls.

Easily this by my reckoning. San Fran would have folded like a cheap sheet. Though looking up clips did remind me Em had pulled both hamstrings by the end of the game. Would have been tough.

January 15th 1995. No call pass interference against Deion Sanders guarding Michael Irvin. It would have put us near the 5 yard line with about 5-7 mins left down 38-28. No doubt in mind we score and Steve Young chokes.

I've been thinking about this and can't cut my list below 10 or so plays. We have been fortunate that our team has a long history of being very good and that is going to drive the number of important 'what-if' plays up.

Any of the phantom pass interference calls on the cowboys in the 70's Super Bowl vs the steelers
This is a really good answer considering the long term remifications from losing both times we played them in the SB.

Interference call on was it Harris or Barnes against the Steelers 78 . Total bs and Lynn Swan apparently later agreed

That play jerri called when he fired Jimmy, would have loved to see if Jimmy could have won 3 in a row
