Eddie Murray. I was disappointed we didn't resign him after that year. A vast improvement over the enigma that was Lin Elliott.

I guess Boniol was no slouch, though.

I've got that game on VHS. I use to tape every game during the '90's run. I'd say that game along with the two championship games versus the Niners are my favorites.

It's probably bad to say this, but the 1994 NFC Championship game is my favorite. Yeah yeah, we lost. But in that game a lot of our guys poured their heart and soul into that game. Larry Allen was playing on one foot, Emmitt had bad hammy's, Irvin was getting mugged by Deion all game, yet our guys just kept plugging away.

Back to the original thread. It seemed like Emmitt was our only option that game. Irvin couldn't get open and it seemed like Troy didn't trust anyone else to even throw them the ball. Great performance by Emmitt. It's the only time John Madden has gone to the locker room after the game broadcast to tell a player "good game".
