This list is where players think their peers should be ranked going into 2017.Some players don't even understand how this list works. Like JJ Watt saying it's a joke. Really? He thinks it's a joke that his peers voted him that high? I would think that kind of respect from your peers would be an honor. Some guys make the list on reputation. Like him and Gronk. Gronk missed half the season and came in #23.

Zack Martin at 58 is a joke. The guy is a 3 time Pro Bowler and 2 time 1st team All Pro and he's only entering his 4th year. He would be the best player on most teams.

I think 20 is too high for Dak, but I do think he makes it.

That's actually not entirely correct. It's not where they think you will be ranked going into 2017, it's the top players of the previous season. In which case yes it's a joke that watt is that high when he only played 3 games and he realizes that

Actually, it's based on the players projection on the UPCOMING 2017 season, NOT soley on last year.

In any case, its highly flawed.
1) Only a limited number of players participate in the voting and
2) there's zero chance they know in detail how good all these players are now or how they will be this year.

Its incredibly flawed, but it gets people talking in the offseason.

Do you really not like Dak? It seems like you root for him but begrudgingly.

He hates that he's been wrong about him.

He hates that Dak out played his pet cat in Philly. Especially after he was making all that noise after 3 weeks about Philly's QB.

It was hilarious for a while. Now it's just really sad and pathetic.

Thanks. I had them on my list and somehow didn't put them in the post....Brees is a lock, imo. berry was 55 last year and was way better this year...so you have to think he's in the 100.. That makes even more interesting.
