A recap won't do it justice: didn't know he played QB at AR. Had a chance to go to Princeton and compete for the QB position against Garrett. Instead chose AR and majored in chemical engineering. Jerry scouted all Stephen's football games....unbeknownst to Stephen.

A lot of cool pictures of dad and son during college days.

I hate I missed it. Everyone is like "it was great! Awesome!"

And I just feel like ****.

Excellent Interview. Stephen chokes up at the end when they were talking about when he takes over for his dad.

This resonated the most with me @WoodysGirl . Stephen also spoke of the clock running both from a career perspective for Romo and a mortality perspective for his dad. He's dialed in on trying to get another championship for pops.

He also talked about how Parcells told him Jerry is a "10 toes up" kinda guy. When he asked Bill what that meant Bill said they're going to have to roll him out of here when he can no longer walk or something to that effect. In other word, Bill was telling him that Jerry will be doing what Jerry does until that fateful day.

Talked about the Demarco decision in a very businesslike fashion.

There were also some nuggets in there from Irvin about how the coach's son is not always universally liked bit how Stephen has an aire about him that has made him very well respected & liked since Irvin could remember.

He talked about how He is more of a black & white type of negotiator and how Jerry has always known when to push the button to go that extra mile. Says he has learned a lot from his father in that regard. This was during a segment where he said Jerry told him in 96 to "go take care of that Emmitt thing" because negotiations between Emmitt's camp & Jerry had gone sour. Stephen ultimately got things settled monetarily and got Emmitt back on the field.

After the segment, Michael Irvin said everyone in the organization loves Stephen. One of the other guys on the panel pointed out that this level of acceptance isn't automatic for a rich man's son.

Thanks Bleu, and everyone else.*

I didn't know that either. The part about the team wondering if someone was scouting them at practice from a distance and then zooming in to find it to be Jerry was classic..lol

Jerry is a good man. What he did for Brent- giving him a scouting position, and what his don just revealed. Hes got a good heart. I love hearing this stuff.

Jerry gets soooo much crap here, but he has made our team the #1 team $ wise in all of sports...$4B worth. The guy has always been about doing anything and everything to get another championship. Has not worked out to date, but there is not another owner around that I take over Jerry. Seeing Stephen break down there just sends a shiver through your soul...the Jone's family are really good people.
