I live in Arizona so I patiently waited all night for the NFL Network Telecast. I sit down at 7:50 PM MST to watch the game only to watch highlights of the live action that has already occurred (Showing the Romo Injury 42 times, Score, etc...)

The NFL Network cuts to live action with 2:52 Remaining in the second half... ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

Not sure why they couldn't start their telecast in the 1st quarter as they were already starting the telecast an hour late.

NFL Network has turned into the TMZ of Football...

They couldn't because of contract obligations. They said it on air.

They were advertising themselves as joining the game an hour late all week. Something about something requires them do it.

They said they could not cut to a live feed due to contractual obligations. My question was why they didn't start the game "tape delayed" so I could actually watch Zeke run.
Because they arent customising their broadcast to your specific preferences.

Ha! You got it, that is why I posted this. I am upset NFL Network did not customize the broadcast to my liking.

Actually if they are going to broadcast a game that is "hyped" to have a rookie high round draft pick (RB) start his 1st game you would think they would cater it to the sports fans liking, or the Dallas Cowboys fans liking or the Seattle Seahawks fans liking.... anyway, I regress.

There is no way that the NFL is going to risk pissing off NBC to show the entirety of a preseason football game. It's just not going to happen. maybe its an artifact of a past era of TV, but I think its more just about selling an exclusive ability to someone and them wanting to have use of that. It sucks for fans for a few weeks of the season.

I don't know if I would trade the away game crowd for the home game crowd. And I am from Dallas.
I'm right there with you. I've already sold my giants and Bengals tickets. I only plan on going to the eagles game. I'm going to 2 away games this season. I've been to 4 away games so far. I am also in Dallas.

Why didn't they just make the game a 8pm local start time? That way fans could see both games in their entirety.

According to opposing team fans, you are a bandwagon Cowboys fan if you've never lived in Dallas. As if you are required to cheer for your local team. LOL
I was born in North Carolina and didn't get the Panthers until 96. All my family were Cowboys fan but once the local team came they jump ship.....I didn't. Did live in Texas some now I reside in California and still true blue now as I was watching my first game

People throw out that term "bandwagon" and half the time have no idea what it means.

Bandwagon - Doing something because it's popular, or fashionable.

When did cheering for the Cowboys become popular? We haven't won anything in 22 Years
