I live in Arizona so I patiently waited all night for the NFL Network Telecast. I sit down at 7:50 PM MST to watch the game only to watch highlights of the live action that has already occurred (Showing the Romo Injury 42 times, Score, etc...)

The NFL Network cuts to live action with 2:52 Remaining in the second half... ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

Not sure why they couldn't start their telecast in the 1st quarter as they were already starting the telecast an hour late.

NFL Network has turned into the TMZ of Football...

Yeah, I was pretty po'ed with that as well.

People throw out that term "bandwagon" and half the time have no idea what it means.

Bandwagon - Doing something because it's popular, or fashionable.

When did cheering for the Cowboys become popular? We haven't won anything in 22 Years

Detroit and Cleveland still have fans...

I had to watch it on Kodi (found a decent Reddit stream using Castaway) and switched over to NFL Network at halftime

Considering the legalities involved I think they did a good job. They showed almost every Zeke run and a few of Daks highlights. I felt like I could wait til later this evening to watch the first part of the game now that I have it taped.

According to opposing team fans, you are a bandwagon Cowboys fan if you've never lived in Dallas. As if you are required to cheer for your local team. LOL
I know several people that live out of state, that rent apartments in Dallas just so they can say they are a "true Cowboys Fan"
I live in Fort Worth so I am just a cowboy Fan, but not a "true Cowboy Fan". I can't afford the apartment.

The NFL needs to update these archaic TV rules to fit the digital world we live in.

Seriously, it's ridiculous that they can't show two pre-season games live at the same time. Is that really going to somehow affect their market share or whatever metric it is they are trying to protect?

While they are finally coming around on making highlights available via modern methods, their live broadcast stuff is stuck in decades past and their protectionism is going to cost them.

I especially love it coming from eagles fans in south jersey. You have a team that plays in jersey yet you root for e-girls. Frankly I don't care other than if you switch allegiances with each new super bowl champion that's weak

They said they could not cut to a live feed due to contractual obligations. My question was why they didn't start the game "tape delayed" so I could actually watch Zeke run.
The replay was from 3:00-6:00 this morning so I just recorded that and watched the entire game commercial free this morning. Yea that was pretty sweet.

What's funny is that Fort Worth is closer to the stadium than Dallas. Pretty much guarantees I don't have to go to Dallas for any reason unless I want to see the Mavericks or Stars. I have the Rangers and Cowboys 15 minutes away.

What are Stars games like. Theyre always one of my favorite western conference teams but I am skeptical that there is good energy in those crowds.

I bet the Dallas game had higher ratings over the Falcon/Dolphin game even though they joined live an hour late. NBC should have realized, people werent gonna watch the Falcons/Dolphin game over the Hawk/Boys game. So starting late or showing from the start Well, except for falcon/Dolphin fans. So starting late or showing from the start We have everyone wanting to watch us. It's because they love us or hate us. The ones who loves us wanna see us win, the ones who hate us wanna see us lose. And there's a whole lot of people who do both. So it was a lose/lose for NBC

The Stars games I have been to have been pretty energetic. A friend of mine has season tickets, so I go several times or more a year.

They are trying to make certain games "national events" instead of the college football model of dominating regional markets.

Real Cowboys fans pay $100 to watch Cowboys preseason games.

But a quick search will give you multiple free streaming options. There's always a full thread on Reddit dedicated to each game, including links to live streams. Just go to Google and search: NFL streams Reddit

My question is how could they be so stupid to sign that contract? It's the Cowboys for crimeney sakes!!! One of the all time best ratings pull!
