with the game being on NFL network, how can you see it? Is this something that bar with satellite can show it or do they need something more?

Thanks
Dan

Certain cable providers have NFL Network

If you dont get it I would make some calls to local bars and find out who will have it

Come to Canada, it's on TSN HD ;)

It's weird though, I get NFL Network for free but when the game is on, NFL Network shows crap instead of the game. I only get the game on TSN with the NFL Network announcers. Some cable rules I guess.

My wife will kill me Saturday, I will have to use both VCRs, one to tape the Canadiens-Penguins game en francais from 4-7, and then the Cowboys from 5-9. Good thing we will be out most of the time so she won't be able to rag me legitimately for hogging both tvs

I'll have it in HD on the 60 inch. You're welcomed to come over and watch. You have to pay the round trip ticket to FL though. :D

Finding access to DirectTV or DISH Network is your best bet. Cable providers may carry NFL Network, but still not offer the live games (mine doesn't) because seemingly most cable companies refused to pay an extra fee to carry the live games.

The game will be broadcast on a local station, if you happen to be "local".

Likewise here, but you'll have to pay the round trip to Louisiana.

For the 100000th time, because Sattelite/Dish internet sucks ***.

And since I refuse to pay the ridiculous taxes on a land line and deal with the crap that is DSL, I use Cable internet. And that makes Cable TV basically $10 a month.

It doesn't make financial sense to use the Dish if you use cable internet, unless you've got cash to burn.

Cable might be worth having if it was only $10 a month, but I think you're probably the only one getting that kind of rate. Comcast gave a $10 discount each month for internet if you got cable, but That was still like $107/month to have digital basic with internet. Then of course there's $10 month for HD/DVR. Add some other crap fees and it was about $125 a month for the 2.

Satellite is about $110 for the 2, with more channels, sunday ticket, and welll, it's not Comcast.

I can't imagine any bar that is a Sports Bar not having the ticket. Is there any reason that people have cable and not a satelite? Seems to me the cost is about the same?

Someone had a good idea yesterday....

Someone put their PC camera near the tv and show it over the internet.....not sure about the legality of doing so though. :)

satellite internet... ewwww. I tried that once and returned the direcpc dish the very next day to the retailer. lol... If you could have seen that guy's face. It was priceless.

I have Directv for the viewing pleasure and Bellsouth DSL for my internet service. I'm quite happy. I've never even so much as had a hiccup in my DSL service and it's always fast. My unshared connection is better than your shared connection. :p: :p: :p:
