That involved the same team whose future HOF quarterback got suspended 4 games for deflated footballs just last year. I guess he forgot to collude on that one.
Just a puppet show. They went 3-1 and they won the Super Bowl. He burned the evidence for Spy Gate. The Patriots have gone to seven Super Bowls in his tenure and have won five of them, the first starting with the tuck rule, and the last one fishy as hell.

If Zeke wouldn't have got suspended this wouldn't even be a conversation. Jj wouldn't be crying and fans wouldn't be starting threads about getting rid of Goodell. No cowboy fan has given a **** about other players suspensions. Jj never gave a **** about it either. Hell, all 32 owners signed off on Goodell extension in May. Lol Jj gold jacket has went to his head and cowboy fans think our team is above the league. All this has finally made me realize what people mean when they say they hate the fan base more than the team. Jj and the fans need to get over themselves. Stop with the jj is trying to save the league. He got his feelings hurt and now he's throwing a fit like a 3 year old kid.

First off it's not the first time, they penalized the cowboys during the non salary cap era, then this with Zeke, he should be pissed. they had no problem giving Jerry the keys to the San Diego move, CBA fight, Rams move, Oakland move.

I’m not against a commissioner making a lot of money. But 50 mil a year plus all those perks is a crazy number.

For as much $$ the league pulls down that number really isn't that huge in the big scheme of things. It is just that Goodell sucks so bad, he isn't worthy of that kind of salary or anymore than he is making. The product has gotten progressively worse since he took over and it is generally starting to tank like we've never seen before. Worst commissioner I've ever seen bar none.

I’m guessing I’m not the only one buy I can tell you point blank you’re dead wrong. I’ve been on a rant about Goodell for years. The guy botched the Ray Rice case, he botched AP, he botched Deflategate, he botched the anthem stance, and he botched EE. Add that to his lies about player safety and this is a long time coming. Under your way of thinking Jerry would have never faught the league in 1995 over licensing and sponsorship. The league sued him, he got it dismissed and then countered with antitrust suit that basically has made all the owners rich. Sometimes guys have to stand up for the greater good and JJ is doing what every fan has wanted for a long time

I’ve been anti Goodell since Wade Wilson was suspended lol

Dude, come on - you can't sit there with a straight face and say that you are perfectly fine with your QB coach taking performance eye saving steroids (or whatever it was) - i mean, that's just violating the integrity of the game, giving our QB coach the unfair advantage of eyesight.

Maybe there’s still hope for the NFL to get back to playing football if they can rid themselves of the biggest pimp and promoter who made it possible for all teams to be profitable without success on the field.

Other owners should love Jerry, he's helped them/the league make billions of dollars and they don't ever have to worry about his team winning a Super bowl.

Jerry, Snider, Kraft can by themselves essentially cripple the NFL by sticking together...

Lifetime use of a jet and lifetime health insurance for his family?

The guy is making over $40 million a year and he cant afford his own travel or healthcare insurance?

It is sad he is going to get a raise after you look at what he has done to the product.

No worries. Jones will back down. He doesn't have the balls to endanger being separated from his toy. He's like a 4 year old hugging his kitty tight.

So very, very tight.
Hell hath no fury like Jurrah w a HOF jacket...

*** does he have to be afraid of? He could single-handedly cripple the league with nonstop litigation' in the worst way.. How about we support the guy trying to help the Cowboys win games?

Screw rolling over; time to play chicken to the death, and guess what, it won’t be the Cowboys...

Will Blank rush to sdny to file a notice of "we are thinking about filing a request for affirmation from the court that we have given roger a new employment contract?"

This will forestall Jerry from flying to Sherman and filing his own lawsuit.

Has nfl actually filed the lawsuit that was their placeholder in ny?

“the league certainly has incredible challenges in terms of where we are with the league," Stephen Jones said during an interview with 105.3 The Fan in Dallas. "Whether that's our ratings, whether that's our concern with our sponsors, I think we need to be focusing on our business and not necessarily on contract extensions.”

How this point alone isn’t enough for wealthy business people to put this on hold is concerning. How they can look at the landscape of the NFL and think all is well is beyond me.

I started really looking at the stands during all the games and those seats are empty. You might not notice if you dont look hard enough.

But its bad. How can the Owners not notice that. They are delusional if they think this is just a passing phase and everyone will just come back

Especially with Goodell still at the head. They will never recover from the soap opera drama that will insue and will hold the fan base hostage. They may not be able to recover from a players lockout

The owners should grab this way out. Let Jerry driveout Goodell. Blame all the ills on him and start over fresh

Jerry knows business. When he is saying somebody and their actions are bad for business, the owners he made boatloads of money should listen.

Why are these particular owners so rabid about keeping Goodell? The only non-conspiracy type thing I can think about is that they think he can still fleece the NFLPA on the next CBA agreement and the chaos now is worth it. But is that really enough when Goodell is causing such massive backlash against the league right now?

My conspiracy leaning mind is close to going full Bigfoot and Aliens on this, lol.

At least to me, the most logical reason to entertain giving Goodell such a massive salary extension is because Goodell is providing something in return to the power owners pushing this.
Some level of corruption is involved in this. Maybe it's not outright rigging the system so these teams have an unfair advantage over other teams in terms of wins/losses ( certainly the other non-power owners wouldn't let this happen would they? Or are they okay with it as long as the $$$$ flow to them? ) or maybe it's just a power play to see which owners get to influence the future of the NFL. Awful big egos involved.

I seriously doubt I can ever get back to the all in fan I once was even if the NFL wakes up and sees how much damage they are doing with this, but they need to try and stop the hemorrhaging at least.

Too late... the damage is done.
