What exactly is the NFL supposed to about adults engaging in promiscuous, but by all appearances consensual, behavior with other adults?

Wow, Im just shocked. Nothing any Patriot could ever do is worthy of any legit criticism?

I have no problem with criticizing those players for their debauchery, but that isn't the point I responded to. The OP wrote "Hopefully the NFL does something about this" and my question is what, precisely, can the NFL can do to legislate offseason debauchery among players with other consenting adults?

This is hardly a Patriots-only issue. Do you honestly think Patriots are the only NFL players banging college chicks and groupies left and right? If you have something intelligent to say regarding the subject at hand, I would be interested in hearing it. Right now, evidence suggests you not even capable of intelligent comments, but I still hold out hope. The subject is what can the NFL do to prevent debauchery amongst their own players with other consenting adults.

I'd be interested in hearing ideas, but something tells me that there really is nothing that can be done.

Against the Law? No Against the NFL rules? No Putting yourself in a poor situation that can lead to bigger issues? You bet, this is not very smart move on these players part.

What is the poor situation and what are the bigger issues to which it could lead?

college parties are pretty wild to begin with and it is stupid for grown men to be hanging out with kids and that is what they are they are immature kids who do stupid things. Of course in your world all is fair game but these NFL players have a lot to loose.

I guess so. it is not hard to avoid trouble 1st thing do not put yourself in bad situations, there are many reports about rapes and parties gone bad on college campuses around the country. These players if they choose to spend their time hanging out at college parties that is their choice but I don't want to hear the excuses or spin when it comes back to bite them. Pro athletes are easy targets which is why the NFL holds these seminars for players to help them avoid the pit falls and some teams like Dallas will hire guys like Calvin Hill to continue to deal with and counsel players on the pit falls. Some guys will continue to learn the hard way, the shame of it is a Pro Career is over before you know it.

Hardly, he is afraid they might oops "score" and she might complain later it was forced or whatever. The same thing can happen anywhere they go. The fact it is a college party is meaningless. He is 28 so he might have been partying with girls 21-23 depending on if grad students or not. Hardly a problem. As usual, some of you are overreacting strictly for "moral" reasons.

As usual you are naive and do not see anything wrong with anything they do. Of course they can go there is no law that says they can't but because something is not against the law does not make it smart. NFL players hanging out at topless bars is not against the law but so often trouble finds them at these types of establishment
