Whats up guys.
I guess by now we all know about the nfl playoff generator, and its that time of year where we plug in and see what happens.
I just ran a worst case scenario, which I hope we dont end up in, but could end up in nonetheless.

It seems like this coming weekend could be huge for us, in making the playoff scenarios much easier.

If we beat Chicago and Philly loses to Detroit this coming weekend,
It doesnt matter what we do the following two weeks after that (Lose to GB and Lose to Wash) the final game will be a win and your in scenario.

Essentially, If we win 1 out of the next 3 and Philly loses 1 out of the next 3, the last game against Philly will be a win and your in game.
Here is the link to that

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/playoff...=45404040&14=11555154&15=15400041&16=11011001

And the flip side, if we win 2 of the next 3 and Philly loses 2 of the next 3, the last game doesnt matter and we automatically make the playoffs.
Here is the link for that

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/playoff...=45404040&14=11555154&15=15504041&16=11011041

Lets Hope we have things sealed before that last game, but more than likely it will come down to that last game once again.

Links dont seem to be working, sorry
But if you try to plug in the scenarios I projected, it should be correct

It would be pretty nice if Dallas just won all four to get rid of these scenarios.
Amen! Let's just make it to the POs on our own by winning these next 4 games. To me it would signal the start of a REAL resurgence of the Cowboys...

It's very simple. If we reach week 17 with the same record as the Eagles or one game behind them, it's win-and-in. Period.

If we reach week 17 with a one-game advantage over the Eagles, we're in. Breaking this one down:

If we beat Washington, we win the divisional record tie-breaker.
Even if we lose to Washington, we win the common-opponents tie-breaker. There are only 2 "uncommon" games: the Eagles won both of theirs but we lost to New Orleans. Thus, if we end the season tied, our record in common games has to be better than theirs.

That game against New Orleans wasn't only uncommon...

...it was unholy.

We've won 2 in a row. To win 6 in a row is unfathomable with this team.

When was the last time this happened?

It is almost impossible for that to happen because we will be facing an above .500 team the last week of the season and we can't beat teams above .500.

Except the one we play at the end of the season...who we have beaten.

We beat them when they were just a .500 team.. when they come here they will be an above .500 team and you know what that means...

If we strap down, win all four games and silence our nay sayers, I'll have felt this team has turned a new page. I think we might have it in us, at least more so than in years past.

An improved pass defense would help us immensely. Maybe Lee, Claiborne and the return of Wilcox will help us enough.

Not really...the stat that has been quoted is for teams that finish above .500, not that were above .500 when we played them.

I am not counting on any help, so I am going to assume Philly goes 3-0 until our week 17 showdown.

That means we have to win 2 of our next 3 to avoid being eliminated before week 17. If we lose to the Bears, that means we have to beat the Packers and Washington. Now if Rogers is not playing that will be a huge advantage for us because they freaking suck without him.

So yall all can guess where this is leading.....................a must win on the road against Washington............If there is any chance they can knock us out of winning the division, that stadium will have a playoff atmosphere. That will be their SB.
