You won't see a Vegas book give an NFL team 20 points very often(if ever) and certainly not one coming off 4 wins in a row.

So what does it mean when you take Dallas, but give Washington the pts? Does that mean you pick Dallas to win, but also pick Washington to cover the spread?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think those would be separate bets.

I've been using a bookie for 20 years. How the heck does it make sense to take the favorite AND the dog on the same bet? Sure, you can bet both on seperate bets, but with the "Juice"(juice is 10% you pay over and above the amount you bet to the bookie when you lose) you are gauranteed to lose 10%. I guess you need to ge to a betting web site because i can't explain it any better. You either take the points or give the points, plain and simple. One wins, one loses.

Sure, if your bookie excepts doyle's you can bet a game 4 different ways. Take Dallas and the over, Dallas and the under, Washington and the over and Washington and the under. But just like Parlays, doyals are sucker bets and for the dreamer in 99.9% of gamblers. Straight bets are the only way to make any money in sports gambling(and damn hard at that). In Vegas a lot of places laugh at doyles(or teasers as they call them) and the people who play them. I would guess if you know what these bets are you know where i'm coming from.
