BTW, when U say Dallas and the Over....that means taking Dallas to cover the Spread, as well as both teams to cover the pts total?

I just get confused when I hear Frank on Fox and the Swami on ESPN do their picks with the spread.

So when gambling on games, are you ignoring the winners of the games and only focusing on the point spread? In other words, if you take the Dog......they don't have to win the game, just cover the spread?

Also,

Is Dallas -10.5 vs Washington the same thing as Washington +10.5 vs Dallas?

If you take Dallas, you give the points and have to "Cover" the 10.5, in other words Dallas has to win by 11 for you to collect.

Thanks for straightening that out for us. Here I thought they had to win by 10.5 to win the bet.
