"The simple conversation I had with (owner) Jerry (Jones), post the decision of Mike walking, was simply that, the continuity," Prescott said. "They wanted to keep continuity. Obviously had a lot of success with this group, with these men, and knew this was important to me. And Shotty has been a huge factor in that, setting up the game plan, creating the game plan.

"If you wanted to find continuity in place, look no further than Shotty."

EXACTLY so Coach is here for 2 or so years to see Dak through whatever career he's going to have whether he's playing all games or not. Once they can make that OUT in his contract, Dak's gone, and so is Shotty!! New coach gets to work with a new QB!

Dak is an OC killer.
Odd... he's had 3 in his career. Scott Linehan. Kellen Moore. Brian Schottenheimer

1 is already a HC, the other is in the Super Bowl and is about to be a Head Coach, and Scott... well he was washed before Dak got here.

but still 2/3rds of them becoming HCs... seems like the opposite of "killing"

Dak Prescotts “future” (and eventual legacy) is this….

THIRTEEN seasons, about a half BILLION in salary, and nada one NFCCG appearance.

Not talking about a SB win, nor a SB appearance, just an NFC final participation trophy. Nope.

This is not entirely a knock on him. He needs the proper supporting cast that his bosses aren’t capable of providing, or realizing…and/or believe he ought to be able to do without due to his salary. It won’t work.

I refuse to torture myself with worrying about what might happen through the upcoming months ahead.

Rather than that, I'm planning on sitting back on my recliner, to observe everything I can about this team.

Jerry and Stephen are guaranteed to keep on doing what they've been doing for decades now, even more.

This front office isn't disposed to doing much of anything that would change their style of doing what they do.

Nevertheless, I do all I can to stop worrying about the failures of others when there's zero I can do to change it.

This organization only devotes itself to providing entertainment. With that being the case, just expect nothing else.

MM was the OC HC so he’s killed off 4 OC and 2 HCs , running the same basic system which is why the OC in name only becomes the new HC, BS is a legend in NFL now, he’ll be in the barn with MM in few years after QB1 writes his eulogy in Dallas

Continuity is good when you actually accomplish something. This is the definition of insanity, they continue to do the same crap over over and think they're gonna strike gold. This team from top to bottom needs a whole new identity. Dak having a say in the coach search is nuts.
