what's worse is it seems like an obvious troll. I mean he wanted to do 25/5 to get the 5 but he messed up and said 4 ;)
If it has not been pointed out yet he could absolutely be right. You would total the average of all the QB's in the list and 6.25 could be the 5th highest average.

again, there the bit about the sample size. you could select a different 4 rankings and get a totally different result. This is part of the reason I question if this is a bit manipulative and if a different method would be used otherwise. Also chances are that 3 of the 4 rankers would not agree with the result of doing it that way. Furthermore how is 4 rankers a consensus and back to the question what is the validity of this method and would they have used the same method last week when that method would've landed Dak out of the top 5?

Heading into Week 3, Dak is ranked #5, #6, #6, and #8 by 4 sources. That averages out to (#5) overall, behind only Jackson, Rodgers, Mahomes, and Wilson.

I know it's still early, but the consensus now is that he's currently the #5 overall QB in the NFL. Not higher, not lower. The ones above him are certainly considered above him, and the ones below him are at least a step below.
The fact that he jumped from 17 to 8 in the NFL.com tells us how finicky this polling is and how unrelated overall it is to some long term list.
So lastweek he wasthat bad and this week he was this good?
should they have an average?
