I ASSUME you realize the refs aren't "out to get us" and that over time, we benefit from incorrect calls as much as we are hurt by them. In fact, back in the 90s, Irvin got away with so much by the refs he single handedly impacted how Off PI is called... without his constant illegal pushing off which the refs always and incorrectly allowed, who knows if we would have won all 3, or any, of those superbowls.

That said.... I do agree that seeing these old codgers old-man-running around out there in stripes is crazy, for a mega corporation like the NFL. Just goes to show its a good ole boys league.

You are not stating facts at least none that I see, and how did we benefit in kind to those 3 penalties we received in OT when the packers got the ball?
I am not entirely blaming the Refs for the loss, what I am saying is they are incompetent and the 3rd down totally obvious non-called PI simply proves that point.

Not saying the refs didn’t suck cause they did but let’s not act like this team actually played well tonight. They deserved to lose like the clowns they are. I’d say I hope they are fired up and mad for next week but we all know they’ll come out and suck again like they always do. Micah Parson can literally get wrung around the neck, but no penalty, but they call that weak call... then they clearly miss a SUPER easy to see pass interference. They didn't want Aaron Rodgers and the Packers to lose 5 in a row period.

Now, now we have football purist who read these threads. Can't be all complaining about refs integrity on here. As the purist will tell you that being a conspiracy theorist isn't allowed in the game of football. But I ain't one of them purist. I get sick and tired of us doing something good in a game just to see laundry on the field and the calls going against us. Especially in crucial situations. No calls when our receivers get mugged and Micah being held/choked on most every play and our linemen being called for ticky tack holding calls especially after a good run play or pass play that makes yardage. Happens at Lambeau on the regular when we play there.

Hell it happens in Dallas, see last Thanksgiving for corruption. It's the biggest thing ruining the game of football right now.

Btw that Part Time Referee on that play is a full time sales representative not a qualified and highly committed employee who strives to hone their expertise in the field of officiating.

It does not happen just against Dallas. There are terrible calls/missed calls every week in every game. It is incompetence at the highest level of officiating and the NFL doesn't care to do anything about it.

Yeah. I don’t think I’ve ever seen the ref and receiver not get that right. I mean are there very many offsides on receivers for lining up offsides, asking, then being told not enough? Don’t they usually tell them when they’re off sides and instruct them where to move to?

it absolutely did cost us THIS game, and I usually am not going to say that about bad calls. it was completely obvious PI on a drive we were making serious headway with in OT .

You bet, most folks think they are full time and they answer to the NFL but not so they are more of a 3rd party. We need to keep the heat on so the NFL will not renew thier "Part time Officials Union" contract
