Picking Bush makes the most sense for the Texans. That's a team that's two outstanding drafts away from being any good. One player, no matter who it is, isn't going to change that. But Bush is a rare talent and he will be worth the money to Houston for one simple and obvious reason: he will sell lots of tickets. Ask yourselves this: who's going to jam the switchboard for season's the day after the draft: Reggie Bush or Mario Williams? There aren't many teams in the league that need a PR jolt like the Texans.
The only thing I can think of as to why they might do this is Bush is looking for QB money. But if the Texans haven't tried talking contract with Bush, how would they know?
