The NFL is really starting to water down their product. Their doing too much with all these international games and now black Friday games. The reason the NFL get so many people to tune in is due to the limited amount of days it's on. Thursday football is already crap, imagine them now trying to shove all these games in our eye balls. Even the Thanksgiving night game is crap, and I don't think I'm gonna wake up early to watch a game in London, never have and don't plan to unless it's Dallas.
They sure are. Even the release of the schedule is a big event now with hours of TV coverage (with loads of commercial breaks). Who watches this garbage. We know who the Cowboys are going to play. It's too much. I get they want to milk every penny they can out of their product but at some point it becomes overkill. It's just a schedule. Pretty soon they will have a 3 hours special event to reveal this year's rule changes.

DVR the show...speed through the commercials and crap. Watch only the Dallas stuff.
I did this for years when ESPN was the only coverage out there. And NFLN when it started. Sped through only to watch what I wanted.
I did that for Sportscenter as well to catch anything that looked interesting regardless of what sport.

Day 2 of the draft this year, I did that as well. I usually watch it all, but this year, I just thought go hang out with friends, have the draft on. Have a few beers. But didn't really pay a lot of attention. Until Dallas picked.
When I sped through it on Saturday morning, around 5 AM. I was glad I did what I did.

When TC's start I will do the same, record and speed through the crap. I can care less what NE does, unless it is huge news somehow. Speed through the parts and pick and choose what I see, and any Dallas news. Same for this summer, for NFL Now and NFL Live where they try to cover all the teams off-season info. Record, pick and choose.

if you have a following on twitch or youtube you can scream at the camera every time they announce the next game

its good for the NFL and streamers they make great money and the streamers bring more attention to the nfl

Yeah, not for me either.
Like you said, show me the schedule. I have better things to do after that.

Patriots then?
Actually it may not be.
In the past the NFL has switched some games as to CBS or FOX as to the conferences. To get the best matchups for the late Sunday games.

This year they completely are doing away with network affiliation of AFC on CBS, NFC on FOX.
Now all games are open to any network. At least from an article I read.

NFL owners should demand US regular season appearences by Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Borrussia Dortmund, and Man U in exchange.

I just don't get why some are upset about this - watch the cowboys when they are on and don't worry about the rest.
I just find the London/Germany/freaking Neptune games annoying and pointless. It's a logistical nightmare, and if there is a team in London at some point then the schedule will have to be adjusted to make up for all the travel time. I'm sure teams will want time to adjust to the time difference before the game, or the London team will have a constant jet-lag homefield advantage. jmo.

I don't. But I see the ads for it. I didn't even watch the draft this year. I just followed it on my iphone while I was doing other things.

yeah i totally get that aspect and agree the international games are very burdensome to the teams that have to play there

i dont think were too far away from having a game on each night of the week
I can't wait to see which network gets Wednesday Night Football. They should have a 3 hour show about awarding the tv contracts.
